Hi!

My name is Alex Harland.

I started out at Bucks College Group in Amersham doing a film and Tv Course, creating our own works of music videos, short films and documentaries, this is where I fell in love with this industry. Over the two year course I learnt skills on; idea creating, script writing, pre production, camera work, lighting, blocking, creating call sheets, working in groups, editing on premiere pro. 

After these 2 years, I joined an Assistant Directing course with CMS/ Pinewood studios with Bucks College Group. this is where I learnt to work in a larger group, involving props, hair and make up and costume design. Also handling a budget and communicating with the different courses. During this time we got to talk to industry experts and look into their world and roles.

Ever since I finished, I have been actively looking for jobs in the industry and hope that one of you lucky companies would be interested in giving me a chance. Read Less
