I am looking to build my industry experience before September, when I will be starting as the Junior Production Coordinator - Level 4 - Bristol Entertainment apprentice at BBC Studios.
As an English BA graduate from the University of Bristol, I hold strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills developed through extensive group projects, presentations, and public speaking. I frequently incorporated film and television theory, including in my dissertation on blood symbolism in Stephen King’s work, which sparked my fascination with production choices, genre, and age ratings in horror. Further study through an American Film course led by David Thomson strengthened my theoretical grounding. I also run a private film club, organising screenings and discussions, and regularly write film reviews online. I have written for ‘The Issue Bristol’ and gained practical media experience in photography and videography, working freelance at live events and as an assistant photographer for Burlison Photography. I have also developed digital marketing skills through campaign design and social media strategy, and I am proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc. I recently worked on a short wildlife mockumentary, where I assisted across production, sound, and set operations, demonstrating adaptability, organisation, and teamwork. I am currently a costume assistant for Two Birds Theatre Co, a Supporting Artist for Key Casting.
