I worked in theatre production for over a decade, gradually building in scale and ambition of shows – until lockdown. The theatre work gave me a strong grounding in essentials like casting, contract negotiation, budget and production management, as well as finance raising, audience development, and social media, which I am now transferring into film production.My first short film / proof of concept for a TV series, THE FOLKESTONE LADIES’ EROTIC FICTION CLUB, will be available from 1 September 2025, directed by Emmy award winner Emelie Mahdavian.

My writing for TV and film focuses on storytelling that moves us towards positive outcomes for our environment. I have two proofs of concept for TV series in post production, and two feature films at treatment stage. My first TV pilot and series bible made the final 10% in the BBC’s Open Call for scripts.

I hold a Masters in Psychology - my work focuses on our psychological response to climate disruption and how storytelling can move us towards a healthier relationship with Mother Nature. I am also a Mental Health First Aider specialising in suicide awareness, making me a safe pair of hands for roles such as Wellbeing Facilitator. Read Less
