For me life is about the simpler things. Travelling anywhere and everywhere, revelling in nature and spending time with friends and family. It’s about finding a good story and getting that one shot that makes the audience realize they are inextricably linked to the natural world. It’s about making the connection. That’s why I thrive best when working with people enthused with curiosity and passion. 
I was born in Zimbabwe, the daughter of a coffee farmer and an opera singer. I moved to South Africa to study a Higher National Diploma in Botany, but after qualifying I was irresistibly drawn to the medium of film. I trained as a natural history film editor, started my own company producing documentaries on Africa’s natural heritage, ecology and social issues, and worked as an award-winning investigative journalist for over a decade. In 2011, I committed to producing natural history television content exclusively, with the intention of educating audiences and showcasing the good, the bad and the ugly of nature conservation, human/animal conflict and population explosion impact on the natural world. Projects led me across the globe, from West Africa to Hawaii, Madagascar to the mid Atlantic Ocean. In 2018, whilst filming sharks and whales in the Pacific, I decided to follow my passion for the ocean, offering an exclusive service as a location producer and fixer for film crews wanting to capture marine content across the world. In the last 6 years I have worked as a specialist film producer for Nat Geo and Discovery Channel, Love Nature Canada, NHNZ & BBC Planet Earth, to name a few. Facilitating and managing marine scientists studying Great Whites Sharks, documenting oceanic white tip mating behaviour, wrangling tiger sharks in the Bahamas and tagging Killer Whales in the Strait’s of Gibraltar, are just a few of the adventures I have been privileged enough to enjoy over the past 7 years.
