Camera Trainee · Camera Runner

Camera Runner and Trainee across The Traitors UK S5, Traitors UK Celebrity S2 and Traitors US S4 (Studio Lambert / BBC / NBC). The majority of my hours are on Sony FX9 multi-camera reality builds, working with RFs, easyrigs, Canon CN7, CN10 and CN20 glass and Bolero comms. I am not limited to that format. Where a production is shooting on a system I have not yet worked with, I will arrange time at a kit house in advance of the shoot to familiarise myself, and I maintain good relationships locally for that purpose.

Day to day responsibilities include cable bashing, battery management and labelling, BNC assembly, tripod maintenance, kit room resets, and moving the camera team and their equipment between locations for fast turnarounds. Quick on the radio and consistently ahead of the next setup.

Alongside the unscripted work I have floor and crowd run on scripted productions including Buccaneers S3, Blood of My Blood S2, MAYA, Half Man and The Running Man. Five series of The Traitors and two of Gogglebox to date, returning to the same production teams each season.

Prior to the industry I was Senior Operations Manager at Ooni Pizza Ovens, responsible for global scheduling and communications systems, so high-pressure logistics is familiar territory. Calm, technical and mechanically-minded.
