I’m Farouk Alao, a visual artist and creative entrepreneur born in Lagos, raised in Dublin, and now based in London. My practice moves fluidly between art, design and fashion, with a focus on building cultural spaces and experiences that connect people.I hold a BA in Graphic Design Communication from Limerick School of Art and Design and have worked as an Art Director, Web Designer and Motion Designer across leading studios like Stink Studios and M&C Saatchi. Alongside commercial work for clients such as Google, Guinness, Samsung, JD Sports and Outernet London, I run 858 ~ a creative playground and curatorial practice that has grown into a movement blending art, fashion and community.My projects range from immersive installations (IMMA, Tate Britain, Outernet London) to brand collaborations and cultural consultancy, often sitting at the intersection of technology, storytelling and street culture. Recognised with multiple Arts Council awards, I’m interested in how creativity can shape identity, spark dialogue and build new forms of community. Read Less
