Leah Vlemmiks is a British-Canadian writer, director, producer and production coordinator. Leah's films have screened at SXSW, Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, Raindance, HBO Urbanworld, Nuit Blanche and many more. In 2025, Leah directed and co-wrote six episodes of the unscripted series, GET HOOKED, starring Faye Marsay (ADOLESCENCE, ANDOR) and featuring Rosie Jones (SEX EDUCATION, DISABILITY BENEFITS). Her narrative short film, AGNES, starring Eileen Davies (VERA DRAKE, SIGHTSEERS) and Clare Holman (THE CROWN, LEWIS) and Executive Produced by Ryan Bobkin (INFINITY POOL) received a Belief Grant from The Uncertain Kingdom and is currently in post-production. Leah wrote, directed and (post) produced three idents that appeared on ITV3 for the national charity, Home-Start UK. These were nominated for the Smiley Charity Awards and the 2025 Campaign Media Awards alongside films from Channel4 and Deliveroo. Her music video collaboration with Canadian artist Witch Prophet won Best Music Video at the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival, was nominated for Best International R&B/Soul Video at the UKMVAs and was voted to the Prism Prize Top Ten by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.
