I'm a freelance experienced environment and science journalist, and TV producer who founded Studio Elephant Tales - a creative studio dedicated to powerful storytelling around wildlife, natural history, and our planet’s most urgent environmental issues. I bridge the worlds of science and storytelling - because only effective communication can create real-world impact amid global climate change.

• Ideate, produce, and direct long- and short-form documentaries on wildlife, conservation, and climate issues
• Create short science and nature videos for digital media, publications, and platforms

• Author reports and thought-leadership pieces for universities on science, climate, and environmental leadership
• Collaborate with science institutions to deliver workshops and talks on how scientists can communicate their work to wider audiences
• Offer consultation for impactful speeches on climate, conservation, and science - working with scientists, conservationists, policy leaders, government spokespeople and political office holders globally
• Organise expeditions covering conservation projects, with a focus on conservation storytelling and frontline conservation experience
• Moderate panels and lead conversations on wildlife, science, and environmental challenges
I was formerly TV News Editor & Producer at Channel NewsAsia, where I covered the environment (Asian Environmental Journalism Awardee 2016), and Singapore issues. I was also previously Producer for the Breakfast Show on MoneyFM 89.3 - where I dig deep into the stories behind news events and the people involved - to bring you experts’ analysis of current affairs that affect you.
Inspired by my lifelong passion to make a difference for the environment, wild creatures and future generations of people who live on planet earth through storytelling, I pioneered a new environment-related podcast segment on Money FM 89.3's Breakfast Show called 'Climate Connections' - which was awarded the Best Factual Podcast at Asia Podcast Awards 2024, where I was also named a finalist for Best Producer for the Year.
Over the last decade, I’ve brought people’s stories to life through a variety of genres - news, documentaries and variety shows. Currently based in Singapore, and am open to travel for work.
Outside of work, I’m wildlife forensics and conservation trained. I volunteer in wildlife conservation, and can advise on managing wildlife-human conflict issues.
