Aspiring Filmmaker | Producing, Directing, Cinematography and Editing experience on short/ student films�

I am a Film Production student at the University of Lincoln and plan to pursue a career in the film industry after graduation in 2027. I have been working towards this goal since I was 14, when I began creating short films with friends before realising this was a possible career. I took part in a 12-hour work experience programme in 2021, where I explored the different roles and opportunities in the film industry with industry professionals. This inspired my A Level choices as I wanted to cover all possible grounds of film before studying Film Production at University; however, I was able to create short films throughout Sixth Form, including a 40-minute documentary I made for my EPQ.

I am continuing to expand my skills through freelance filmmaking and taking charge of Student Films when possible. I have taken the role of Writer, Director, Cinematographer, Producer and Editor throughout various projects, allowing me to explore all phases and processes of production. During this time, I helped co-found and become the nominated Treasurer for the Girls in Art Society, where we won the We Are Lincoln Award for Best New Activity in 2025. Read Less
