An award winning Executive Producer and Broadcaster I am passionate about powerful storytelling and connecting audiences across television, radio, and podcasts. I have worked across six major prime time TV shows and spent ten years in BBC Radio, leading and creating content that resonated on both national and global levels.
BBC Radio programmes (predominantly targeting youth markets) under my leadership, enjoyed a rise in their listening figures (RAJARS) by as much as 108%. My background is rooted in journalism, having spent two years as a global television news anchor and an additional three intense and rewarding years spent in BBC news — including frontline coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic and Royal deaths. Those experiences shaped my ability to deliver high-pressure, high-impact stories with accuracy, empathy, and speed.
A solid on-location reporter I have covered various political elections, whilst presenting and exec producing a documentary on children’s education in Pakistan earned me a special commendation from the countries government minsters.
Willing to undertake independent projects, I Produced all BBC's material for the worldwide event, Global Goals 2016, whilst HSBC personally approached me to present and launch two series on youth employment. Now I balance creativity and leadership behind the scenes as an executive producer, while still presenting at live events for TV and contributing to podcasts.
I was personally selected to launch and host Strictly Come Dancings official podcast after securing over a thousand hours of live TV experience hosting mid morning entertainment programme ‘Shine’.
Prior to my time in media I lead two creative businesses from their infancy to achieving a global presence and image renovation (skincare & business development). I’m always open to collaborating on innovative media projects or discussing where the future of broadcasting is headed.
