Hi!

I am a passionate film enthusiast who wants nothing more that to gain experience working alongside other creative people involved in the film industry. I have completed a Film degree at Edinburgh Napier University, finding a lot of inspiration in the Scottish landscape to motivate my uni projects which are mostly based around Scottish characters and stories. Currently, I am living at home in Surrey, a short 50 minutes away from central London where I am hoping to find work. It is such an active hub of creativity, with an intricate network of people I would love to get to know and work alongside. 

My skills lie mainly in the hands on design side of filmmaking. My strongest work for sure was in my role as production designer on my grad film 'Pickled Fish' which you can find on my website cjpsmedia.com. I would love to get involved in the art department on any project, whether it be shorts, features, music videos, or even animation. I pride myself as a skilled artist, with a keen eye for composition, colour, and aesthetics in general. I work a lot with paints but can also draw, sculpt and print. I am inspired by nature and books, and love to admire the work of others and learn from their techniques.

I am also open to runner jobs, having experience in a couple of projects outside of my degree as director's assistant. I work in a customer service role when I am not doing film work so am familiar with working with people and meeting the everyday needs that ensures a set runs smoothly. Additionally, I am curious to learn more about script supervising, having helped out as a trainee on a feature back in February. I really enjoyed this as it challenged my observational skills, and gave me the confidence to speak up in an environment which can be daunting as someone who is just starting out in the industry.
