Having previously worked as a freelance Video Editor and Videographer, I have gained a broad understanding of the post-production process, and I am now looking to develop my career by taking on further Logger, Assistant Editor and Edit Assistant roles in the unscripted Film/TV industry. 

Over the years, I have taught myself how to use Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve since I began making my own content for YouTube from the age of 12. Since then, I discovered my love for filmmaking, and I have now created a variety of different narrative and unscripted short films. This passion led me to pivot career paths; during my studies in psychology at the University of Oxford, I began to pursue a creative career in the Film/TV industry after a life-changing student-exchange trip to China, where I made my first short documentary with a 2-week deadline. 

I have now learned industry standard software such as Avid Media Composer (Ingests, Exports, Sync Maps, Conforms, Cutting), and I am seeking to further develop my technical post-production skills.

My current experience will enable me to appropriately assist the editing team where needed. Recently I have worked as a Post-Production Runner at Splice, and I am currently working as a Logger for Raw. I am excited to continue in my development as I work towards further Edit Assistant and Assistant Editor roles. Ultimately, my dream is to be an offline editor for documentary programmes. Read Less
