This early exploration laid the foundation for her creative journey, which took off when she won her first film competition, Boovie2020, in Romania. That pivotal moment ignited her deep love for filmmaking and led her to pursue this artistic field with dedication.
Since then, Diana has continued to participate in various film festivals and competitions, earning recognition for her work, including winning first prize at the East European Film Festival in Romania in 2021. Seeking to hone her skills further, she was selected for the prestigious "Let's Go Digital" workshop, organized by the largest film festival in Romania, TIFF (Transilvania International Film Festival).
Diana is also the recipient of the "Voices that Matter" full scholarship at MetFilm School Berlin where she recently graduated from, offered by Mtv Staying alive foundation. Her work often centers on exploring socially relevant themes, especially around women's rights and identity, combining personal storytelling with artistic experimentation. Now based in Berlin, Diana continues to bring her unique perspective as a Romanian filmmaker to the international stage.
