I have experience from working on Channel 4s live TV Show Stephs Packed Lunch (2023-2024), I have also completed a Costume in HETV course through Screenskills. I am contacting you because I am interested in working within the costume department and to broaden my knowledge within it.
I know I would be a valuable costume trainee through my variety of experiences from costume and fashion on film working with talent cast and crew for Theatre, scripted and unscripted TV in a professional manner to my organization through managing an entertainment company and forward planning for Tuesday fashion sections with channel 4. I have developed skills such as categorising garments, keeping in perfect shape so they are TV ready for both close ups and long shots, alterations in hand and machine sewing, pressing/steaming and CAD resources, (proficient in Microsoft applications and competent in Illustrator and Photoshop).
I am an energized, efficient, and proactive learner, a great communicator who is flexible and adaptable, I know that the opportunity to work amongst your team would be informative and invaluable to me.
I am actively looking for opportunities to better myself and my experience in the best environments possible, working with a team that shares my dedication to growth and advancement within the entertainment industry as well as being so inclusive with neurodivergent individuals as a dyslexic myself.
I am currently based in the North East, I have a full UK driving License and I am available to start straight away.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Thank you for your time.
All the best,
Rebecca Cave
