I am a former police detective of 6 years, having left in September 2024, I am now being trained under the National Film and Television School for Assistant Directing and Floor Management. I have taken my ability to handle risk, extreme levels of pressure and intense scenarios, which are often highly dangerous, alongside problem solving skills from murder investigations and operational planning for surveillance and combined it with the role of the AD, providing a crew member that is dedicated no matter how tough it gets and you can trust to be a calm, encouraging, and surprising to those before they meet me, a massively fun presence for the crew. It takes being in the worst situations to understand that a film set should be a fun, efficient and safe place and I want to be part of that change. If I can solve a live car bomb, I can solve problems on a film set. Currently working within short films during education and looking to begin my journey into feature film, and seeking any opportunities across mediums to get there.
