I am Vikki, a Birmingham based graphic designer of over 15 years. I am seeking Art Department and Props roles after setting up my own design studio in the Zellig Building, Digbeth. With experience and a passion for graphic design, and years in-house and independant as a consultant designer, I felt it was time to move into more fulfilling work. Helping build worlds that both cast, and viewers can really immerse themselves in, I can often be found hunting for reference materials in charity shops, estates sales and eBay – I have a dedication to creating authentic work for any production, to fit with both the period and situation.

I also can confirm I have my own car and a full, clean driving license.

In terms of working as part of a team on shared tasks; communicating, taking direction from others with conflicting priorities and problems to solve; I have always relished working within a team, I love to help and am known for mucking in and helping with anything that needs doing, but also know when to stay out of the way! Having run my own studio for the last five years I am a proven effective communicator, used to working to extremely tight deadlines with curveballs aplenty. A wonderful recent experience on set echo’s this in the producer’s feedback.
