I'm a creative researcher with a specialism in high-end visual effects. I have a PhD in environmental/climate studies and am a GVC qualified drone pilot. At BBC Studios Natural History Unit, I bridge scientific research, visual storytelling and cutting-edge visual effects workflows. In November 2025, I have been accepted to take part in the DV talent "Step up to Shooting AP" programme. Over the past two and a half years, I’ve directed international VFX shoots, organised lens grid shoots, and contributed to a landmark multi-series commission with National Geographic. My role encompasses both editorial and production responsibilities, with skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid, Shotgrid, and Photoshop. Prior to this role, I managed laboratory operations at the University of Oxford, overseeing chemical and technical analysis while mentoring research projects. My academic foundation includes a PhD in Environmental Research and Climate Change, where I explored past Saharan environmental change.
