Read MoreHello! I'm a freelance journalist, researcher & scriptwriter with 5+ years of experience writing for online publications and more recently for YouTube. My reporting has been published in Vice, Dazed, Wired, The Daily Beast and a variety of indie mags, both in print and online. I primarily report on internet culture and folklore, especially where it intersects with the unsusual, mysterious or paranormal, with some of my favourite things to cover being lost media, internet mysteries and niche online communities.
More recently I have worked as a researcher and scriptwriter for YouTube. I have worked on various projects for Nexpo, a self-described internet detective in the analog horror / true crime genre, who creates immersive documentaries for an audience of over 3.5 million subscribers. This has included topic hunting, compiling and presenting research, and writing and editing scripts alongside him. I have also recently started researching internet culture video essays for Izzzyzzz. I am keen to take on more projects within the YouTube space, especially those that intersect with my own interests and research topics.
