I love being creative, whether that's through a 30 second reel or through the art of storytelling, I'm at my best when I'm able to be part of a creative process. My journey into the world of film and television has been shaped by a strong academic foundation, with a degree in Film, TV and Philosophy from Nottingham Trent University.
Throughout my studies, I immersed myself in the theory and practice of filmmaking, writing essays on comedy greats like The Office and Brasseye, whilst finding valuable experience as a cameraman and runner.
My current goal is to learn as many skills as possible that are useful within the media industry. That is why I'm currently partaking in a graduate internship with the communications team at Ashfield District Council. I have been able to create, design and edit high quality and appropriate content for the council's digital media. I have also been able to maintain excellent knowledge of digital media technologies and plan new and innovative ways to utilise digital media as a key communication tool. I'm excited to see where these skills take me after this valuable internship.
I am eager to collaborate with like-minded creatives and industry professionals who share my passion for the media industry. Whether it's developing original content, working on dynamic TV productions, or contributing to the overall success of an organisation, I am excited to continue learning, growing and making my mark in the media industry.
