Read MoreI have experience across a large variety of programmes from property, reality, obs doc, factual entertainment, food and youth, both day time and prime time. I am extremely happy working on location, in the studio and in the office.Previous programmes 'People Like Us' and 'Keeping Britain Alive' have required me to work on location away from the production office, being an incredibly determined self starter and responsible for my teams on the ground.I am extremely confident managing long running series as well as programmes with a quick turn around and am capable of seeing a production through from pre-production to delivery. I'm very experienced in call sheets and risk assessments, edit scheduling, liaising with talent and agents alike, cash flow, budgets and cost managers, clearances and production maintenance. I have also organised shoots in Europe (Paris, Limoges, Malia, Pisa, Pescara). I have completed and overseen post production paperwork for most of the main broadcasters and have a great understanding of tapeless & edit workflow.Most recently, (and simultaneously with the ongoing Building The Dream) I have been Production Managing the Random Acts short film productions from the North of England in conjunction with Tyneside Cinema. This gives young filmmakers between 16-24 the opportunity to create a professional short film which may be selected for broadcast on Channel 4.
This has developed my ability to work closely and successfully with more inexperienced directors than usual. It has pushed me into thinking about a huge array of different film genres, filming techniques and troubleshooting problems not usually on my radar.
