I am a London-based screenwriter and filmmaker. I received my Screenwriting MA from London Film School, and hold Screenwriting Certificates from both University of Southern California and New York University. I also hold a Certificate in TV & Film Producing from the two-year program at New York University. I have a second MA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College.

I received my Certificates in Filmmaking and Script Reading and Reporting from NFTS, where I also participated in their month long Directors Series course, and I am currently enrolled in their Finding Your Voice Screenwriting six-month intensive at Golden Square in London.

I have over three decades of experience as a professional SAG/AFTRA/EQUITY actor. I have worked on TV projects for Netflix, Disney, ABC, NBC, CBS, and Public Broadcast Systems from daytime soaps and prime time dramas, including the Marvel Universe,  re-enactment documentaries, and comedy.

I have written and directed many short films, two of which went to film festivals and won several international film festival awards for Script and Drama/Narrative Short. I am currently in pre-preproduction for two short films I am aiming to shoot by mid-summer 2025.

As a member of both SAG and Film Independent, I watch all the Academy screeners and read all the scripts of nominated films and TV shows, and I vote for the SAG Awards and the Independent Spirit Awards.

I previously taught several classes to high school students in the New York Public Schools through the Visiting Artists program of the Roundabout Theatre using theatre techniques to help student access their own natural problem solving abilities to apply to their regular course study. I have studied psychology, and I taken courses through the Centre for Applied Jungian Studies to better understand character and story which is reflected in my work in films as a writer and as a work-creator. I have a keen aesthetic eye for visual storytelling, as well as a practical understanding of how things are assembled for in front of the camera.

I have served as script editor and cowriter for several short and feature scripts, and I have worked as Production Assistant and Art Assist. I am experienced in collaborating with other creatives from all departments of film making on a common goal. Read Less
