Lily began her career working as Production Assistant and later Production Coordinator on BAFTA and Emmy nominated children's series Floogals, which combined CG animation and live action. After completing ScreenSkills’ Production Coordinator Training Programme in collaboration with the BBC Academy in 2019 Lily went on to work with BAFTA award-winning production company Blink Films creating factual entertainment documentaries, before moving back into animation as Production Coordinator on the CG animated TV-series Lloyd of the Flies with Aardman in 2021. Alongside these projects Lily is independently a Producer for Bear Behind You, producing short films, documentaries and music videos with the company. Notably the team produced Spines (2023), a short film funded by BFI NETWORK and co-funded by Falmouth University’s Sound/Image Cinema Lab. Spines was the first BFI-backed short to be written and directed by an autistic person and star an autistic lead actor, and was commissioned as a case study on ‘Working With Neurodiverse Talent and Crew’. The team are currently working further with the BFI since being awarded Early Development Funding to write their debut feature film.
