I'm Mike, a filmmaker currently based between Cardiff and Barcelona.

With a background in the arts and travel, I take my creative direction from a documentary background, often exploring character-driven narratives. Past clients include The Guardian, BBC, EpicTV, Universal Music, France 1, Air Tahiti, Red Bull, Vans, UNMAS, ZoomIn TV, Sinfonia Cymru, Estrella Damm, Much Better Adventures, DEFRA, Culture Trip, and more.

I’ve worked in over 30 countries, often in fast-paced and challenging environments such as expeditions in Iceland and Scotland as well as on deployment with the British Army. I’ve also handled more delicate assignments, interviewing talent such as Bono, Boris Johnson, and Bill Gates. As a personal project I also develop and produce my own independent editorial exploring creative culture in different cities, having created editions in London, Barcelona, São Paulo, and most recently Tokyo.

As a former Combat Camera Operator in the British Army, Content Creator and traveller, I’m looking to explore more exciting opportunities and build a career in broadcast and as a Shooting Producer Director.
