Over the past 10 years my work has primarily focussed in Natural History TV, creating captivating content for BBC, Apple TV+ and Sky. I have a proven track record directing a wealth of high-end sequences across the globe.

With a background in animal behaviour science, and a wealth of scientific contacts built over the years, I relish the challenge of unearthing compelling, new science and conservation stories and transforming complex science into emotionally engaging narratives.

- Experienced in development, scriptwriting, storyboarding and edit producing with a passion for crafting compelling, character-driven narratives.

- Highly experienced and confident in planning, co-ordinating and directing large-scale shoots and multi-location productions across the globe, often in challenging environments, with a calm, detail focussed approach. Skills include finding filming locations, creating shoot schedules, developing kit lists, applying for permits, writing risk assessments and managing rushes on location. 

- Shoot experience includes, but is not limited to: shooting master interviews and actuality, recording sound, night filming with low light tech, directing shoots using remote underwater rigs and gimbal systems fixed on vehicles or speedboats, macro studio set ups, heavy lift drone and more.

- I am just as confident working in a team of two, as I am directing large, diverse, multi camera crews. Experienced in managing multi-skillled teams in the office and in the field, to plan and shoot high quality sequences.
