Alex Harron is a documentary producer/director from a working-class background with dyslexia based in Scotland. He has a passion for fly on the wall character driven stories. He completed his first feature documentary Bend Don’t Break in 2019. He then produced and directed his first BBC commission a 30 min tv documentary The Racer and was nominated at the Edinburgh TV festival best debut director. The Boxer was a 1-hour documentary for BBC Scotland and was nominated by Royal Television Society for best sports programme. He recently completed his latest documentary Eilish McColgan Running In The family for BBC Scotland which was been nominated for a Bafta. He is currently working on two feature documentaries with support from Screen Scotland.  Read Less
