My journey started in a community centre, where I worked as a Director's PA with a wonderful team of non-professional performers. Managing rehearsals and coordinating between cast and crew showed me the magic that happens backstage.
For my final year university project, I designed sets and costumes for a dance performance, focusing on how fabric and scenery could move and flow with the dancers. I created detailed technical drawings and used Adobe Photoshop for storyboarding, always keeping the choreographer's ad performers' needs in mind.
My experience grew through designing touring shows in Greece, where I learned to create adaptable sets while managing budgets and resources. I've also worked as a scenic artist, including on 'The Fabulous World of Dior,' where I helped create stunning visual displays using various painting techniques and textures.
Currently, I'm working in construction administration, where I've gained valuable skills in project management and documentation. This mix of creative and organizational experience gives me a unique approach to bringing projects to life.
I'm now looking to return full-time to the creative industry, bringing with me both artistic skills and practical know-how. Whether it's designing sets, coordinating productions, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, I love being part of the team that makes the magic happen.
