I’m a Development Researcher, Production Secretary and work as the office manager at Double Act Production. I work across the full development process, I help contribute ideas, shape formats, lead and contribute to brainstorms and help to take projects from early concept through to pitch and packaging. I studied History, worked in an MP's office and as a field organiser in the last election, these experiences have really bolstered my ability to research, dilute complex situations into a more digestible format and also has helped to develop my passion for understanding how diverse our audiences are despite the echo chambers we live in. Arguably television in this complex and precarious world has become one of the glues of society which unites people as opposed to divides them. My experience is at Double Act TV where we develop treatments and sizzles for all the main broadcasters both in the UK and in the USA: Netflix, Channel 4, BBC, NATGEO, ITV etc. I have also gone on various development shoots and helped think about the social media strategy as the Gen Z in the room... what else can we do right? A love for storytelling, finding humour in the complex and pressure cooker environment and the exposure to different lifestyles is extremely central to how I see the world. Read Less
