I’m a Producer / Director / Edit Producer of factual television with an instinctive and imaginative directorial eye, and a passion for crafting exciting and thought-provoking stories. Building on my academic background (Physics & Astronomy) these skills make me ideally suited to science and nature documentary making. For me, there’s nothing more exciting than approaching an intriguing subject with a fresh canvas and the opportunity to sculpt a film in a way that compliments the subject matter and themes. ​​I’m particularly interested in films about wildlife, conservation, climate and planetary science, astronomy, archaeology, and socio-political issues. Through working across a variety of different projects, from low-budget to blue chip, I’m experienced across all aspects of production: from development and securing access, through to scripting, producing, shooting, directing and editing. I’m equally comfortable working to tight deadlines, or out filming in remote locations. I also have a strong technical aptitude and take an eager interest in new filming technologies and techniques.
