I am a documentary filmmaker with experience working across India and the UK, confident filming on Sony FX6 and FS7. I’m drawn to stories that require patience, empathy, and trust while also being comfortable working in fast-paced environments. I have extensive experience working with sensitive contributors and hard-to-reach communities both in India and the UK.

I am an alumna of the National Film and Television School. Before moving to the UK, I spent four years based between Delhi and Mumbai working in-house in leading production companies as a creative producer and director, setting up shoots from scratch and managing crews for short documentaries and campaigns for clients including Dalberg, BBC StoryWorks, UNICEF and WaterAid. 

More recently, I’ve been working within the UK documentary industry, gaining experience on broadcast productions while often stepping up into Assistant Producer responsibilities.I have a strong grounding in research, setting up international filming, and working with archival and retrospective storytelling. I’m skilled at writing and designing treatments and visually-led proposals (InDesign, Photoshop), and comfortable collaborating across creative and production teams.

As an independent filmmaker, my films have screened at several international festivals, including Sheffield DocFest. I’m now looking to step into an Assistant Producer role where I can bring together my editorial, creative, and production experience with care and rigour. Read Less
