I am an experienced runner, art director, and production coordinator who has worked on commercials, TV shows, and short films.

Recently I was part of the art department for Space 2 locations for Phoenix Rise, categorising props, and managing logistics. This included relations with the location and costume departments. I love to create scenes for the director, real or imaginary worlds, my skills in being resourceful, supplying props, and art running include 'If This Is It' a new 80's short, and BFI's 'The Sikh Soldier'. I sourced period costumes and props, from retro TV to furniture, gas masks to musical instruments. I have worked as a location assistant for the Ministry of Justice commercials and BBC Joan and We Go Again. This includes road closures, set-up of department areas, honey wagon management, stunt coordination, green rooms, and lunches/catering. I have also been a runner and stand-in for Great British Menu working with a camera crew, production team, and food stylists. 

I am productive in the arts and culture, commissioned to make films for the British Council, University of Warwick Medical School, Coventry Creates for the City of Culture, and independent musicians.

I aim to secure work within a production company at an entry-level such as a runner, researcher, or production assistant. I would love to work on a full production, contributing to a successful formula to make popular content for different broadcasts. I have worked in the past for television advertising agencies, and post-production companies for clients such as Sky, tabloid media, food and drink companies, and the entertainment industries.

I also assist in the MBCC (Multicultural Business and Community Champion) awards championing minority individuals, businesses, and community leaders, and celebrating diversity. For Enter Stage Write within the Transition Company, I assist with the awards ceremony for new writers, actors, and creatives to stage new productions with nominations and awards. 

My main practice is exhibiting films, photography, audio, and installation work nationally, recently at Waterside in Manchester, and part of the 50th Anniversary at Warwick Arts Centre, Material Worlds exhibition providing family activities every Sunday, September to December 2024. www.sherrieedgar.com  Read Less
