For the past 10+ years I've worked across film and high-end television, partnering closely with writers, producers and commissioners to develop scripted projects for independent production companies and leading UK and US broadcasters, building the trusted creative relationships that underpin successful long-term partnerships. 

My work sits at the intersection of editorial judgement, creativity and analysis. I enjoy helping writers address story issues, sharpen character and structure, and shape their ideas into compelling, emotionally resonant work. I’m particularly drawn to the collaborative nature of development: asking the right questions, identifying what's not yet working, and supporting writers to uncover the strongest version of the story they're trying to tell. 

With experience in television drama, feature films and at a literary agency, I understand the creative process from multiple perspectives. Alongside development and production work, I mentor writers on a freelance basis and speak at film schools about story development and the realities of developing scripted projects.  Read Less
