A hard-working and versatile Assistant Producer and Reseacher with experience on multiple prestige documentaries, and over six years of formal training in film studies and production. From 2018 to 2021, I worked as a Researcher on six-time Academy Award nominee Jim Sheridan’s acclaimed Murder at the Cottage (2021). This highly demanding and all-encompassing role honed my abilities – from pitching and editing sizzle reels, to archive and casting, and ultimately proved the best education in documentary for which I could ask.

My next role was as an Assistant Producer and Assistant Director with the same production company (Dare Film). My first task in this job was to design and run a crowdfunding campaign for Donal MacIntyre’s upcoming investigative documentary about the disappearance of Belfast boy Noah Donohoe. This required producing video and written content, leading a small team of editors, organising crowdfunding events around Belfast, and filming every step of the process. The campaign went viral, generating £40,000 within twenty-four hours. Within a few weeks the crowdfunder had amassed £180,000, far surpassing its goal. The videos my team produced received more than ten million views and accrued more than 3,500 hours watched. Thanks to these efforts, the documentary is now fully funded and nearing completion.
