Nicholl SemiFinalist (2024) Screenwriter Suzy Miller re-wrote her life story of ‘overnight single-mum with three very young children’, into becoming ‘the creator of the UK’s first ever divorce fair’ - gaining international media attention.She turned being chronically shy into performing a TEDx. From giving birth on a houseboat without pain relief, to raising her kids in a house whilst Suzy lives in her garden shed - because she likes the way the moonlight beams through the skylight at night. (And it’s quieter than the house!)A Stowe and Nostos alumni, Suzy lives in London - but has a brother with a spare room in L.A.. Her short film received many accolades including an Honourable Mention at the London International Film Festival, and her pilot Walking Gran was winner of a Pilot Competition out of nearly 800 scripts platformed by The BBC Writer's Room.Suzy has also written and produced an immersive binaural audio drama and she just loves to challenge conventional stereotypes, and her portfolio of TV series and Features reflects her own distinctive lens of the world.
