Andra Smileanschi is a London-based artist from Bucharest, Romania.

Their work spans short films, music videos, TV, and commercials, working across the art department. ​ 

With an academic background in Politics and Sociology, their practice is informed by queerness, feminism, and the experience of being an immigrant. Andra’s work embraces surrealism and challenges linear time, using bold colour palettes and striking visuals to push the boundaries of reality and create emotionally resonant, politically aware design.​ 

Andra completed a Filmmaking Certificate at NFTS (2024) and a Design for Art Direction course at UAL (2023). They are also the Creative Director of SPILT MILK, an exhibition platform for queer feminist art.
