I’m Courtney Beauchamp, a passionate film editor with a degree in Film & Television from Savannah College of Art and Design. With a keen eye for storytelling and a foundation in narrative and technical editing, I’ve honed my skills across a variety of genres. My experience includes editing short narrative films as part of my senior thesis, such as In Five, a comic book heist film, Artist Block, a character-driven exploration of trauma, On The Deer King's Land, a horror fantasy drama, and To My Father on My Wedding Day, a story of confronting past trauma.Beyond narrative film, I have a strong command of industry-standard software, including Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, and am expanding my skills in sound editing and color grading. I’m also dedicated to working directly with RAW files to ensure the highest quality in my projects. Currently, I am looking to transition into my first full-time post-production role, where I can bring my storytelling instincts, technical expertise, and commitment to collaborative filmmaking to a dedicated team. I am also trying to connect with people outside of my country (I currently live in the United States) to help my dream of moving to the UK, and continue my career goals across the pond.
