I've over a decade experience in factual television, documentaries and commercial work with roles both in crew and production. I am a strong creative self-shooter in obs doc, factual or promos.

I'm excellent with people. Most notable recent gig was organising and shooting for Netflix's Snowpiercer season 3 on location in Yemen. Full clean driving licence, crew van and shooting kit FS7ii/FX6, drone, gimbal and stills photography. Broadcast camera trained. Dependable kit with lenses, audio, tripod and lighting A7sii and gimbal. GoPros and operating drones since 2015.

Well used to working with talent or contributors in a self-directed capacity e.g. Nat Geo and BBC science presenter Ella Al-Shamahi. I found myself heading off with her to a remote Yemeni Island on a rickety cockroach infested wooden cargo boat. https://youtu.be/IMzXzyL37DY 

I'm comfortable with short or long-term projects, delivering series from conception, shooting to edit producing.

I'm affable and professional. I know how to get excellent imagery, audio and shoot for the edit. In the past I have spent 4 months on the road for a Nat Geo series to Mongolia and spent 5 weeks trekking through the Australian bush. In the UK I walked 500 miles around Wales for a documentary carrying my equipment with me. Interesting fact about myself. In 2019 I was asked to manage Bardsey Island, off the Welsh coast, living in an off-grid house and no inside toilet. It was an unforgettable if windy experience.
