After leaving education in 2021, I trained and obtained my GVC qualification for drone operations and was granted Operational Authorisation by the CAA in the summer of that year. I then established Greenwood Drones in July 2023, beginning operations in the latter half of the month.

From a young age, my keen passion surrounding aviation and the sky drove me towards the dream of working with aircrafts. That passion, upon the discovery of drones, motivated me to establish and form my own company in order to provide a service utilising the capability of drones. 

From a family background of over 40 years in construction and roofing, I saw the prospect of drones within the industry and their possibilities in making it easier to perform surveys and inspections on both commercial and domestic properties as well as providing clients with incredibly in-depth reports without the need for costly, more risky averse and time consuming traditional methods . 

A passion for photography and cinematography also sparked my interest in the potential for drones to optimise and enhance the video and photography industry with crystal clear images taken from the sky, bringing a new prospective to events, businesses and real estate as well as providing stunning cinematography for TV, film and video projects.
