My name is Liam Lacey, and I am currently in my second year of the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology at Mid-Kent College in Gillingham, Kent. My course focuses on industry-standard production processes and both technical and creative skills. Throughout my studies, I have learnt how to plan, film, and edit a range of productions, including TV adverts, music videos, film trailers, short films, and interactive videos.

In my first year, I gained valuable work experience at KMTV, where I operated cameras during live shows and edited content, including the weekly sports Action Replay segment that aired on TV. This segment featured community sports highlights from Kent, with narration over the footage.

I am particularly interested in gaining work experience in editing, as it is an area I would like to pursue as a career. However, I am open to any video production experience. I am keen to gain exposure to the industry and would be grateful for any opportunity you can offer.

Additionally, I am looking for an apprenticeship or entry-level editing role to start after I finish college in June. I am eager to bring my skills and enthusiasm to a dynamic team and contribute to exciting projects. Read Less
