With a track record spanning 15 years in journalism and hosting, and four years in directing and executive producing, Nelufar would fit into the role of director. Over the last five years, she has successfully been practicing in the role though her unique skills make her a hybrid player, picking up other roles needed in any team she works in. Nelufar is excited by projects that focus on character driven storytelling where she wants to work in the future. Her experience draws her to projects both talent lead & observational film making. She is an expert in directing films in multiple languages and in high risk and challenging environments. Nelufar has managed small and medium teams in preproduction and up to 15 in the field. Previous engagements include outlets like BBC, ITN, and the Doha Debates, showcasing her ability to work on projects with global audiences across platforms such as Netflix, Rakutan, Nat Geo, and Channel 4.
