I’m Jared, I work in the events sector on location and in production studios. I am also a sound designer and recordist for film and TV with a Bachelors of Arts in Film Production.

I gained a love for Film and Media at a young age, getting lost in the stories told on the DVD's and VHS tapes my mum passed down to me, initially pursing this passion at Sixth Form by completing Media Studies. I found a love of sound design, foley and music within films and believe these elements are the foundation for making worlds depicted on screen truly immersive. Deciding to take my studies further by undertaking an undergraduate degree was the best decision I could have ever made, giving me the skills I needed to create films that I am truly proud of.

In my second year I worked on an International Welsh Drama film that led to me being awarded a craft award in sound at the Royal Televsion Society Student Awards. Having worked on several other major film and commercial projects since, I am confident in my abilities in recording perfect dialogue and mixing soundscapes to films to high quality. Read Less
