Joseph Mugridge is a 21 year old film production student, studying in Bristol and aspiring to be a wildlife long lens camera operator. His passion stemmed from watching wildlife documentaries on tv as a child, he would always watch the whole thing and be amazed by the action and storytelling. During his time studying in Bristol, he has gained 5+ years experience working independently and within a team on personal projects and client briefs. His experience isn’t limited to one field as he has filmed various projects across different genres, from sports entertainment, to tv drama, to natural history and even horror. Joseph is well trained with filming equipment in both camera and sound departments, including Sony, ARRI, RED, BlackMagic, FreeFly Ember, Canon and drone operation. Trained on Zoom recorders and Tascams, as well as boom operating. Outside of his studies, Joseph has been filming Bristol City FC men’s, women’s and U21s for 4 years alongside college and university. He has also been apart of shoots for companies such as Drummer TV, Rabbit Island Productions, Bristol School of Acting, Burnt Soul Clothing, Bordeaux Tourism, Spring Willow Productions, New Take Films and many more not for companies. Joseph is also basic life support trained from his time working at Bedminster Family practise as an administrator and has also completed his Mark Milsome Film and TV safety Passport.
