I have recently graduated from Queen Mary University of London (Summer 2023) having studied Human Geography as well as several collaborative modules within the college School of Film, in particular Eco-Cinemas. I have always had a strong passion for geography, more specifically environmental sustainability, preservation of the natural world and innovative ideas to help mitigate climate change within creative Industries. None more so than within the Film/TV and Documentary industry. Alongside geography film has been my lifelong fascination, in terms of both entertainment and production. During university my desire to combine the two was further cemented as i am looking to work in film with a sustainable outlook upon the industry, such as research into the natural world, reducing carbon footprints on sets, managing the environment during shoots, location scouting, in particular those taking place in fragile environments and ecosystems as well as collaborating with indigenous communities, rural landowners and locals who have a strong understanding of the land, working in unison to create a more efficient and sustainable industry.
