As a skilled storyteller with a strong background in science and wildlife documentary programming I have produced content for a range of broadcasters.

With experience working as a Development Producer I am also up to date with commissioning and understand the latest steers from the broadcasters and SVODs. I can produce decks, sizzles and pitches to suit any platform.

With a proven track record directing, editing and delivering both presenter-led content and high-end science programming, I maintain a high creative ambition no matter the budget or schedule and have the ability to work creatively within any project boundaries. I am an excellent script writer, able to adjust my tone to a broad range of audiences and have experience writing scripts to satisfy sensitive co-production arrangements.

Passionate about educational entertainment and the role filmmaking has to play in inspiring people to better understand the world around them, I am committed to writing, directing and editing content for diverse audiences.

– Selected Achievements –

Developed and delivered a new creative traineeship for Warner Brothers TV International. Part of a business strategy to increase sustainability, diversity, and inclusion in production. Worked with local teams to find traineeship candidates, and work with trainees to ensure the training was culturally and locally relevant.

Pitched, funded, and led a large team of professionals from across the international television community to develop, produce and deliver audio-visual and event content for the UN’s COP26. The project successfully trialled and used decentralised management strategies. This platform gave underrepresented voices from across the globe a chance to tell their stories in their own voices on an international stage, without top-down editorial control. 360-degree feedback and an organic approach meant the project was constantly evolving.

Developed and delivered environmental impact campaigns to sit alongside programming. Being led by local knowledge and expertise to ensure projects have the most impact. Developing ethical guidelines with locations and contributors at their heart. Leaving filming locations ‘better off’ and working with local teams to ensure ‘better off’ is not an assumed and imposed position.
