Hi there! I’m Calum, a writer-director and digital content creator from Worcester whose journey in filmmaking began at 11. What started as a hobby with my father’s camera evolved into a deeper passion, leading me to establish my own production company in 2010.

Initially focused on comedic sketches and video blogs, Smashing UK Productions has grown into a versatile creative outlet. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including my World War I drama Divided We Stand, which received recognition at various festivals as well as BAFTA accreditation. My YouTube channel, with over 61,000 subscribers and 22 million views, reflects my dedication to connecting with audiences through engaging multimedia content.

Currently, I work as a Video Editor and Digital Content Creator with Rossano Ferretti, where I’ve helped refresh the company’s marketing strategy with visual content for luxury hotels like the Park Hyatt in Dubai, New York, and Vienna, as well as the Cheval Blanc in Paris and the Abu Dhabi EDITION.

Before this, I gained valuable experience as a Videographer and Broadcast Camera Operator at Gemporia Craft, working with brands such as Swarovski and Bosch. My earlier roles at Immediate Media Company TV and DRP Group also helped me build a solid foundation in video editing and content creation, collaborating with clients like Jaguar and the NHS.
