My name is Bowen Tan, and I am an independent VR animator using VR animation software to create appealing animation. As an animator, I have several successful independent animation projects that have been screened in several important public facilities, including the Science Museum, the BFI Southbank, The Maritime Museum, etc. Some of my animation shorts have won international film festival awards, such as the Manchester Film Festival and USA Film Festival. I am also a post-graduate researcher from the University of Sussex focusing on cinematic VFR storytelling in order to find the proper way to maximize the emotional effect of this new storytelling interface.

Recently, I successfully created a commercial for a Brighton-based startup investment hub called Tiger's Pen by using the new technology, which can be found on their website here: https://www.tigerspen.uk/. Based on this case, I believe VR technology is now ready for industrial-level production for multi-platform content today, and I am looking forward to promoting this new idea to a wider audience.
