I have recently graduated from The Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, Nottingham studying BTEC-Level 3 Film & TV.
Across my two years, I achieved a flawless distinction-star grade. Outside of class, I spent a lot of my time working on short
films & documentaries with friends, e.g. during summer 2023 I wrote, produced & directed a short (24-minute) film with a cast
& crew of 15. In my first year I received the “Best Director” & “The Extra Mile” awards for my passion in and out of the classroom
and in my second year, I achieved the “Best Assistant Director” & “Confetti Industry Award” for my work helping on every
optional production ran by the college. Overall, I have around 250 hours experience directing & 75 hours as first assistant
director but have deliberately undertaken a diverse set of production roles to widen my knowledge & understanding. I’ve worked
as a first assistant director in a TV studio, where I have supported cast and crew on set and in the green room, I’ve been a
stand-in for the lighting and shots, I’ve run messages between heads of departments, alternated the batteries for equipment
including NPF & V-Mount batteries, locked off the set for filming – ensuring that nobody gets in or out during the take, I’ve
managed background action before, on a few productions and of course, I have run tea, coffee & refilled drinks for cast & crew.

In my spare time, I am a Cub Leader at my local Scout Group, where I have been a member for 14 years and a Leader for the
last seven. I have been using computers for the past 15 years and am familiar with a number of software packages, from game
engines to video editors, databases and scripting. I am able to work from anywhere within the UK and am happy to move
anywhere on the mainland. Most importantly I am keen, engaged and passionate to get involved in the industry to start making
