During my Masters in Film Production, I have followed the course pathway of a producer. My degree has given me experience and understanding of the primary goals of filmmaking, and given me various of opportunities to express myself as a filmmaker and producer.

I have learned and gained skills in organising the budget, cast and crew, which led me to be a part of larger scale projects, for example short films that consisting of thirty to forty people. To create a smooth and professional filming process, I had to learn how to communicate with the cast and crew precisely and effectively, to ensure the running of a well-organised and dedicated team.

Aside from being a leader of the production and running the project in general, I am always keen to listen to and encourage other crew members to share their advices and ideas. This always creates a friendly and professional environment, giving me and other line producers options and variety in decision making. At the same time it allows us to communicate on what we want as a team, what our main goals are, and stick what we think is right and best. Read Less
