Highly experienced multi-media journalist/producer based in Lincolnshire.
Returned to fulltime freelancing in June 2024.

Currently working for the BBC in Lincoln/Hull as a freelance content/studio producer on all daytime radio
programmes and news journalist/researcher.

I also freelance for Made in Manchester, who supply audio and podcasts to BBC Sounds/Radio 4
and the World Service and other outlets.

20+ years industry experience at the BBC in factual and news, working across television, radio,
audio and online in newsrooms/stations across the East and West Midlands.
As a self-shooting, freelance filmmaker I have filmed short docs, and produced, researched and narrated
longer form factual films using archive material.
Experienced bulletin presenter/producer, scriptwriter and doing voiceovers/narration.

Technical
Self shooting shorts/docs and editing with Adobe Premiere/Audition.
Working on location/studios with range of mikes, cameras, iPhones, audio recorders and on post production/editing, 
depending on the project.

PhD in media history and experienced writer of peer reviewed articles on early BBC history in 1920s-40s.
