Aner Etxebarria (https://aneretxebarria.com/) is a Spanish documentary filmmaker, Panasonic Lumix Ambassador and ILCP Associate Fellow, specialized in conservation of wildlife and Anthropology stories.

Driven by his commitment of filming stories about our lost connections with nature, in 2018 created his first conservation documentary series: Voices of Earth.

A project that made him travel, for three years all around the world, looking for the last authentic relations of symbiosis between humans and animals. Seeking the proof that there was a time that we lived as friends with wildlife for surviving. 11 human stories, many on the brink of extinction, that shaped the professional that he is today and that were nominated as Best Limited Series in Jackson Wild Media Awards 2021.

Since then, he has directed new documentaries like Bayandalai Lord of the Taiga, Tabira or Joy. All of them stories co-starred by humans and animals that have been selected in international festivals like Wildscreen, BANFF, SBIFF or Big Sky.

Currently he is working on new conservation and Anthropology stories in the South American and African rainforests. Read Less
