I have extensive experience in most generes from factual entertainment to scripted comedy, animation and documentaries.
I am comfortable working with mainstream on screen talent like Jonathan Ross, and Derren Brown, to developing new unknown up and coming talent - I directed the comedy series Barking which introduced Matt Walliams, Mackenzie Crook, Peter Kay and Katherine Tate to television.
I have directed serious dramatic documentaries including Beyond Love and Equinox Special for Channel Four science slot about extreme sexual compulsions. This was one of the first 'shock doc' programmes.
I worked with Jonathan Ross for ten years as series director on all three series of Japanorama and as director of his long form documentaries In Search of Steve Ditko, 12-FU and Pete and Dud the lost Tapes - a recreation of their sketches starring Adrian Edmonson, Alistair McGowan, Simon Day.
I enjoy making travel shows and have travelled to Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and The Great Barrier Reef for The Lonely Planet/Pilot guidesfor Discovery Channel.
I have spent years on and off in the USA' mainly Los Angeles on many series and long form documentaries and have extensive contacts there.
I lived in Portland Oregon while directing The PJ's animation series starring Eddie Murphy.
More recently I worked with the BBC R@D Unit developing and documenting pioneering ways of making content in Virtual Reality. These 'Experiences' include The Resistance of Honey, Fore Rescue 360 and Crossrail The Musical, showcased at festivals around the world. The Resistance of Honey was selected into competition at IDFA.
I am a great team leader and inspire my crews to bring out the best for the project.
I can work under intense pressure and have run up to four edits at the same time and am known for 'pulling a rabbit out of a hat and turning it in to a dove'.
I have made several independent drama films including The Boot - a short 35mm film selected in to competion at the Venice Biennale Italy.

I enjoy making short form social media films and sizzles. I can self shoot and work from home on Avid and Premiere Pro.
Prior to working in Television I was one half of the Duvet Brothers., pioneers of Scratch Video producing music videos, title sequences, adverts. Their pioneering shooting and editing style influenced 'youth TV throughout the 90's.
Their most well known music videos being the Blue Monday scratch video for New Order and the No1 hit Pump Up The Volume by M/AR/R.S
Most of all I enjoy the challenge creating great, awe inspiring work in all genres.
